Victorian? Black Straw w/Striped Velvet Hat Upturned Brim Black Flower Mourning?

Description

Beautiful black Victorian hat (I think. I'm no expert, so look at the pictures.) with a black flower in center front. Made of woven straw, it's an elaborate design of folded striped velvet on the sides, an upturn of the straw and white, black and silverish tube cording. Black velvet edges the u-shape in the back and continues into the long ties. You can see the lining is in great condition. Under the lining is a wire frame. Hat is approximately 8" from front to back, 8 1/2" side to side at the widest point, 4 1/2" tall. Ties are approximately 24" long.
