Description
The Testo 549i (0560 2549 03) Smart Probe High-Pressure Gauge with Extended Bluetooth Range, -15 to 870 psi (-1 to 60 bar), is a hose-less, wireless, pressure probe with a 45 degree connector. It is designed for measuring refrigerant charge in AC/Refrigeration systems. It is used for servicing, troubleshooting, and documenting the operation of residential or commercial AC/refrigeration systems. When two 549i are used in conjunction with two 115i pipe-clamp temperature probes (sold separately), it is easy to monitor superheat and sub-cooling in AC/refrigeration systems. The testo 549i easily connects to standard Schrader valves without tools and without hoses, eliminating any refrigerant loss. The probe makes it considerably easier to work on pressure connections that are a long distance apart, thanks to wireless connection to a smartphone or tablet. Since no hoses are needed for the measurements, no refrigerant is lost, or only a very small quantity.
The testo 549i works on smart devices with either Android or Apple operating systems, wirelessly transmitting the measurement data via Bluetooth from up to 350 feet. With the testo Smart Probes App installed on your terminal device, you can view your readings conveniently. The Testo Smart Probes App is a powerful and easy-to-use tool. It allows you to remotely read measurements from up to six Smart Probes and to easily document and report the results. All measurement data is displayed as instrument readings, tables, or graphs. The measurements can be quickly saved as PDF or Excel files. The App creates custom reports, which can be saved and shared by email. All your data can be stored and retrieved, saving you hours of time-consuming paperwork.
