    Solo usage on a registered cover to USA. Postmarked October 29 1938 at Port Moresby and with back stamps of November 18 1938 Sydney, December 17 1938 Seattle WA and December 19 1938 Arcadia CA. Travel time and back stamp at Seattle suggests it went by surface mail - not air mail. FDC cacheted cover - but Scott Catalog lists First Day as September 6 1938. Catalog value of the stamp, used, off-paper is .50.
