Makita combines both their brushless motor technology and battery innovation in this XSH06Z 36V LXT Brushless Cordless 7-1/4 in Circular Saw. Powered by two 18V LXT Lithium-Ion batteries (sold separately), this tool gives you maximum performance while remaining in the Makita 18V LXT cordless system. An electronically controlled BL Brushless motor matches torque and RPM to the application for ultimate power and efficiency. Even demanding applications like cutting sheet and dimensional lumber can be powered through with this Makita 18V X 2 cordless circular saw, giving freedom from the cord once and for all. The XSH06Z delivers efficient cordless cutting with its many features. The brushless motor can reach a full 6,000 RPM and with Automatic Speed Change technology is able to adjust cutting speed and torque under load for efficient cutting and optimum performance. This Makita 36V Circular Saw has been tested to make up to 610 cross-cuts in 2x4 SPF lumber or 320 cross-cuts in 2x10 SPF lumber on two fully charged 5.0 Ah batteries. The large cutting capacity of 2-5/8 in at 90 degrees along with an electric brake gives maximum productivity on the jobsite. This saw features a die-cast magnesium base and blade guard with die-cast magnesium base, which provides durability at a lighter weight. A built-in dust blower cleans the line-of-cut, while a built-in tether notch aids in productivity.
The XSH06Z features Makita Extreme Protection Technology for your circular saw. Engineered for improved operation in harsh conditions, a protective seal is added inside the tool to repel water and dust away from key internal components. The 18V Lithium-Ion system is the world's largest cordless tool system powered by 18V lithium-ion slide-style batteries.
