    Description

    The MACON DETECTOR is an optical instrument, designed for maximum visibility.  The BASE is an optically efficient watermark cup. This can be used in combination with a magnifying glass to examine stamps for flaws, repairs, etc.  Used but barely. Box worn, repaired with tape.  Made in US Glen Rock NJ.  Great to give to your beginner philatelist or older stamp collector of vintage items.
