Ladies Stubben Prince Of Whales Stainless Steel Riding Spurs.
This is a pair of Ladies Stubben Prince of Whales Stainless Steel Spurs. MARKED: STUBBEN STAINLESS STEEL. Now these spurs are over 30 years old and although they are stamped “Stainless Steel”,
HOWEVER
, both show some over all spot rust with some superficial pitting throughout from rust spots that have appeared over the years of use, particularly around the holes where the leather straps feed through. Surface scratches overall. (As I said, they are well used but strong, no cracks). Please see the photos. These are spurs you will be receiving.
They show good use, but my riding and show days are well over so they have been collecting dust on the mantel for over 10 years now.
The spurs heel spread is 3 inches at opening, 3 and1/8 inch deep and are offset for separate left and right boot. They have a ¾inch long neck, which are canted. Total length from inside of spur back to tip of neck is approximately 1 inch.
Total length of the spur will be around 4 and 7/8inches depending on which side you measure from.
I’ll include the original leather straps in case youwant to re-use the stainless-steel buckles which are original to the spurs, but the leather is dry-rotted and broken.
