"2022 will also witness the creation of the GT family. The original GT in triple laminated steel entered the scene way back in 1997, proving hugely popular right from the start. Now it is joined by a version in 14C28N stainless steel.
The GT looks like a friendly giant and has always behaved like one. With new steel, this proven workhorse can take on an even wider array of tasks.
To make it more easily distinguishable from the original, we have dressed the new GT in genuine black leather with white stitching."
Opened to photograph and admire. never used. Factory edge. This is a great collectable knife. It is one of my favorite knives. It just looks and feels a cut above. The handle  is rounder than the Alden. It has become a favorite for the field, bush , camping or whatever. The knife pictured is the one you get. My info tells me this blade offers a bit more flex, though I never have felt the need to "flex" a nice knife. I'm sure someone will come back from the field and tell me.

Helle GT is a longtime favorite and has been in the Helle line since 1997. It has a big fanbase in many parts of the world for its characteristic look mixed with traditional Scandinavian knife design.
The GT has a barrel shape handle suitable for most hand sizes and is long enough to fit big hands. The aluminum fingerguard offers a safe protection from the  stainless-steel blade. The blade has a classic scandi grind that has been hand polished to offer an out-of-the-box hair popping sharpness.
The knife comes with a snap type black leather sheath of high-quality leather.
The name GT is short for the German Globetrotter company, which during a visit at the factory contributed in the design by adding some adjustments to an earlier Gunnar Lothe design.
