GREEN URANIUM DEPRESSION GLASS "IDL NY NO. 1 MADE IN USA" STAMP MOISTENER DISH

Unusual vintage uranium green glass dish that apparently was used to hold water for moistening stamps (I only learned that from much research!).  As you can see, it has been tested under black light and has a great glow so that would date this to the 1920s or 30s.  It is marked on the bottom "IDL NY" in a triangle and No. 1 and Made in USA around the triangle, and I have had no luck trying to figure out what IDL stands for. But this could have been made by one of the big glass companies of the time as an advertising piece for another company.  In any case, this dish measures 3" in diameter and 1 1/2" tall, and is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.  It has a little uneveness on the rim but that is a manufacturing issue.  Great collectible vintage piece for stamp historians!
