    2 NOS (New Old Stock) USA made vintage ceramic porcelain Oak Rubber Company  BALLOON molds for  Mouse Ears & Round (lollypop shape).
    Back about 20 years ago I was fortunate enough to  purchase a bunch of the Oak Rubber Company ceramic porcelain molds. Long out of business, but up to  the 1950's or so they were the world's largest producer of Balloons. How times have changed- now they are all made in China both the balloons and molds. I purchased these with the idea that "someday" I would make something with them- I didn't know what,  but at the time it seemed like a good idea. I have both used molds which show the rubber/latex near the base of the mount and new ones like these that  do not have the base mount (a rubber gasket and threaded rod and nut to mount on a chassis). The used ones also have  leftover pieces of latex/rubber material near the base.
    The mouse eared one (some catalogs call it a rabbit shape) is about 9 1/4" long ,  and the Round lollypop mold 8 1/2" long. Really neat stuff. I will be listing the molds for the birds, big weather balloons, giant dodo birds,  snakes,  spider legs, airships, gourd shape, and baseball bat in the near future
